Welcome to my new and updated website!

You probably didn’t know the website was going through a major transformation and was prepping to launch again…because neither did I! Surprise!
Let me reintroduce myself….
I was born and raised in Connecticut by a young single mom who pursued a career in social work, which inspired me to follow the path of helping others. I left Connecticut and moved to Los Angeles when I was 24. I eventually attended USC where I received my masterโs degree in social work.
I started this blog with no directions a few years ago. Maybe around 5 years ago. The page had random posts about things going on in my life. It was a space to express, but it had no clear purpose or direction. And that’s ok, because that’s where I was at that time in my life.
Now, I am currently in the final stages of getting my license to operate independently as a therapist. My direction in life has changed and I thought this was a good time to revamp myself.
I am looking to create a space where we can gain easy insight regarding mental health. For example: What do you have to do to become a therapist? What is anxiety? What are coping skills and how do I use them? There are so many different things we can go over and learn. It’s kind of an exciting time in my life that I want to share with everyone. I’m here to help the therapists and the people who seek therapy. We all learn from each other.
It is my humble request you share this content with your friends, family, and social networks. Letโs work together to ensure that mental health information reaches those who need it most. Letโs create a loving, authentic, and accepting atmosphere here. Together, we can make a positive impact and foster a world where mental health is a priority for all.
